One of the hidden gem places in India is the village of ''Khajjiar'' in Himachal Pradesh. Often referred to as the ' Mini Switzerland of India,'' Khajjiar is located at an altitude of 6,500 feet in the Dhauladhar mountain range of the Himalayas. It is known for its stunning natural beauty, with rolling green meadows, dense forests, and a picturesque lake at its center. 

About:       

 Khajjiar is a hill station in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Dating from the 12th century, Khajji Nag Temple is dedicated to a serpent god. Nearby, the high-altitude Khajjiar Lake is surrounded by cedar forest. West, Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary is home to animals including deer and bears.

Khajjiar offers a serene and peaceful environment away from the bustling tourist crowds. You can enjoy activities such as trekking, horse riding, and paragliding while soaking in the breathtaking view of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. The village is also home to the Khajji Nag Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to the serpent god.
