THE BEAUTIFUL WATERFALL OF ,TAMIL NADU

                                                     HOGENAKKAL FALL

Hogenakkal Falls is one of the few major tourist attractions in India that falls right on the border of two states. It is located on the border of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu (46km from Dharmapuri district). For those in Bengaluru, Hogenakkal is a great day trip as it is a short 4-hour journey from Bengaluru.

It is, however, a long distance away from Chennai, as the waterfall is approximately seven hours away from the city.

Some reasons why we think Hogenakkal Falls is a great holiday idea.

1.) The waterfalls

Hogenakkal Falls is a series of waterfalls formed by the Kaveri River as it cascades down rocky terrain. The water plunges from a height and creates a spectacular sight, especially during the monsoon season when the river is at its full flow

2.) Therapeutic baths

The water at Hogenakkal Falls is believed to have medicinal properties. There is a designated spot for those who are interested in taking these baths. But you may very well expect the space to be crowded. Some say it’s the water and some believe it is the way the water hits you.

3.) Boating and coracle rides

You can do boating and coracle ride which looks too much fun. The boat person takes the coracle boat to the waterfall and it feels amazing when you go its feels like touching the sky.

4.) Landscape View

It has an amazing view because it is surrounded by forests and rocky hills which make it more attractive and the scenic beauty of the area adds to the charms of the falls, making it an ideal place for nature lovers and photographers.
